This stunning depiction of water management in the State of California reminds me of the adage, “never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.” As California state “policy” is blindly driven by environmentalism, one might argue that state water management is best characterized as an admixture of both malice and stupidity.

I’m also reminded of one of my favorite movies, the film noir classic Chinatown. This film seems to prefigure the current state of California’s water management, rife with corruption, and the intentional waste of water through diversion and runoff into the Pacific to ultimately benefit a few wealthy oligarchs.

The current motives are far wackier. Just don’t try to make sense of it. “Forget it, Jake. It’s Chinatown.”

Admirers of the most courageous, principled member of Congress, Rep. Thomas Massie, will appreciate this in- depth interview he did with Matt Kibbe on the Free the People YouTube channel. Massie, a farmer and engineer, who has been a congressman 12 years, is working with Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar to expose the Uniparty. Kibbe twice encourages Massie to read up on Austrian economics and the lawmaker promises to listen to an audiobook. 

Massie and Greene announced at their press conference on 5/1 that House Speaker Mike Johnson has to go. Massie explains Johnson’s three betrayals (starting at 13:15): colluding with the Democrats on the omnibus spending bill, passing FISA without search warrants, and $95 billion military aid to Israel and Ukraine.

Andrew Torba at the social media website Gab has put forward an incredible article showing how dangerous the H.R. 6090 bill is in its claims of combatting anti-semitism and how several Bible verses and long-held Christian beliefs will be banned under it.

At CPAC Hungary, Austrian MEP Harald Vilimsky has warned that “Europe risks becoming ‘a second Arabia or Africa’ and that governments are importing migrants who create security problems then offering ‘solutions’ that only punish native populations.”

I couldn’t help but think of today’s post on LRC via PCR, The Death of Ireland and Replacement of the Irish People.

The Hungarian and Austrian People spent centuries at the frontier of Europe, repelling Mongols, repelling Moors, defending and allowing the preservation of Christian Europe for many, many generations. Who could have predicted that the Europe they once saved would scoff at their saviors (and Savior), invite their invaders, give them free benefits, and ignore their transgressions!

This is a culture who has made peace with suicide.

Is it possible that Austria and Hungary will save Europe once again, this time from themselves?

I adore Opera, love Country and Western, have grown to cherish Bluegrass, and was weaned on Rock & Roll … but I have found little that might surpass the pure unmitigated joy and freedom (or do I repeat myself) of the “dueling” guitar solos of Dickey Betts and Duane Allman in the Southern Rock anthem Blue Sky. As the cosmos would have it, the car radio was playing that song as I departed my last day of employment before seeking new horizons.

Was this all part of a plan to unite Russia, China and Iran?  Have we been led down a path of distraction to destroy national sovereignty globally, paving the way for a tyrannical one world government? Was it all deliberate distraction? I think so.

For someone like me who doesn’t live in New York, it’s easy to be mystified why anyone would continue to live there.

Of course, for many it is home, and certainly many more are unable to leave for myriad reasons. But I would exclaim to any New Yorker that the writing is on the wall, in bold and all caps. The New York Justice system is hopelessly twisted and corrupt. State Lawlessness can only lead to the State of Nature. And there will be no one there to protect you, and of course the State of New York wants to make it a crime to protect yourself. The police? What sane person would even consider becoming a police officer? Police departments across the nation, if they were honest, would place these words on recruitment posters: “Join the Police Force! Go to Prison!” No thanks.

It will only get much, much, much worse, and likely quickly. You are at the event horizon.

The top advisor to Donald Trump is apparently part of the swamp he still claims to want to drain. These articles will be of interest to those, like me, who don’t trust Donald Trump and wonder if he’s controlled opposition (or maybe not quite manageable controlled opposition since he all indications are he still does not allow anyone to completely control him). We figure he’s the lesser of two evils when comparing him with the fossil who calls himself President Biden. Politico published this piece profiling a woman named Susie Wiles as the #1 advisor to Trump. 

Who is she? I never heard of her. She has a long history of supporting Republican establishment candidates and RINOs including recently Ron DeSantis. It is interesting to know Roger Stone or Steve Bannon are not the advisors who have Trump’s ear and controlling all access to the presidential candidate. 

Attorney Robert Barnes posted this article on his X stream with the comment: “Hint: when Politico sings your praises, it ain’t because you’re gonna drain the swamp. It’s because you are the swamp. This is actually a very bad sign. Wiles is a classic swamp personality — deeply embedded with corporate lobbyists for Big Tobacco, Big Food & Big Pharma. Guess who else her company’s partners have close ties to? Covid vaccine fraudster Pfizer.”

National File revealed Wiles was co-chair of a firm managed by a recent Pfizer Vice President. Trump has lost support for pushing the Pfizer covid shots and for failing to acknowledge how they have not been safe or effective for many people.
